Hah I mean there's a ton of presets in there but yes also some from youtubers.

You can absolutely use it as a keyboard controller but I don't think you can use it as a midi controller because a regular keyboard doesn't output MIDI. However you can use any class compliant MIDI controller on the iPad that you can use on the desktop.

There are many DAWs on iOS but my favorite 2 are Cubasis from Steinberg and Logic Pro 2 from Apple :)

Unfortunately it's a bit of an older app now that hasn't been kept up by the developer.

@@MobileMusicPro I can’t complain though. He gifted it to me. I just bought the first version. And three days later this version came out and I wrote the guy and he gave it to me for free . But it sounds so good . Such a shame.

There is absolutely a time stretch option in Cubasis, simply tap on an audio clip and then tap the "STRETCH" button at the top next to the undo button, and then choose the Pro algorithm and then simply tap the corners of the audio clip to drag it longer or shorter.

@@MobileMusicPro I tried here but it doesn't create the transients within the measure, from what I understand it only creates them at the beginning and end. Am I doing it wrong?

@@Leonardodelimaalves Not sure what you mean by creating the transients but you can certainly timestretch both audio and midi clips to any bpm by following the previously mentioned instructions. Just make sure the project is in your desired bpm so when you timestretch the clip you can snap it to the grid.

@@MobileMusicPro In fact, I'm importing an mp3 from a band that recorded without a metronome and I'm trying to put the song on the grid. That's what I'm trying to do

@@Leonardodelimaalves Yah it's hard when things are not recorded to a metronome to get them aligned exactly on grid. You can certainly try time stretching things but it's a manual and tedious process. I know there's automated tools on the desktop that can do it but nothing automated comes to mind on iOS. Though you can still try giving it a shot on logic pro since that's on iPad now. If you do end up going that route I recommend checking out the logic pro guide youtube channel here www.youtube.com/@TheLogicProGuide

Anywhere on the screen you can zoom in and out by pinching vertically or horizontally with your thumb and index finger.

To monitor a live signal for any given audio track you would tap the little sound icon to the right of the record icon at the bottom of the audio track.

You can automate the volume of the master track to do a stereo fade out for entire project similar to what we've done here. You would just bring up the mixer and the master track and then click the R and W on the master track, hit play, then turn down the volume until satisfied.

Tracks in Cubasis are stereo by default so if a mono signal is coming in it would be because of the soundcard its being plugged into. You have to make sure your soundcard supports stereo such as the focusrite 2i2 then you can plug in a stereo mic that has 2 cables into that focusrite to achieve stereo recording. You could also plug 2 mono mics into the focusrite 2i2 and then pan one left and one right in Cubasis and achieve stereo that way as well.

@@MobileMusicPro Is it possible to get stereo without a sound card at all? Maybe there are some stereo cables from USB? It's just that my audient id4 ii card only has one line input and a second guitar input. I like my sound card, I would not like to change it to focusrite (((((Are there really no other ways?

​@@user-rq3dt7oi9s I think if you have a stereo mic you can plug one cable into the line input and one into the guitar input to achieve stereo recording.

No delays here, bluetooth midi is always good, bluetooth audio however has still not really been solved when using it in a DAW.

Cubasis 3 has many studio grade effects built in, however only the iPad will allow you to add 3rd party AUv3 effects which are just like VSTs on the desktop.

Unfortunately producing with bluetooth headsets don't usually work due to the inherent latency in bluetooth tech, it works great for peripherals like keyboards, but still works horrible for wireless listening devices that need audio in real time.

There is a huge variety of drum apps for iOS but android doesn't support the AUv3/VST standard so you could not use the app inside of a DAW like Cubasis or Logic on Android.

It may now but didn't at the time of recoding this video.

Its all good, I saw someone else inquired as well. I guess I was just thinking out loud. It would be great if someone made a conversion app for IOS. Like ConvertWithMoss, or kitmaker. I don't think convertwithmoss does beatmaker kits but it will do mpc and decentsampler. Its my understanding Audiolayer can mess with .sfz now too. Im just not sure you can export. So SynthJacker might still be useful@@MobileMusicPro
